Description
The Engel 10 Amp Thermal Fuse is designed to protect your Engel.
It will cut at temperatures above 160. It will also cut iut if there is a current short circuit or if the polarity is reversed. It can be found in the tip of the DC Cord Plug.
The fuse can only be tested using a continuity meter. Visual inspection will not indicate a blown fuse.
This fuse is standard on most top open models with a standard DC cord (MD14F, MHD13F-DM, MT17F-U1, MT27F-U1, MT35F-U1, MR040F-U1, MT45F-U1).

Engel combi is working as great as I had hoped.
"It's proven track record has paid off with the pricey purchase. The wired tempurature sensor they sell for $10 is ok, I decided to purchase the wireless dual sensor AccuRite from Amazon. The combi temp control is simple. The electric cords are high quality. Unit shouts quality. - The fuse for the DC Cords needs to be 8amps – 10amps . Match the diameter and the length. Don’t worry that is doesn’t look the same as long as the measurements match up. Call us if you have additional questions. P.561-743-7419.
