"This freezer is compact, quiet and works well. I'm using it to transport frozen garden goodies from the PNW to AZ where I spend the winter. It fits behind the passenger seat of my motorhome and will run on A/C and D/C, so will keep the food frozen whether I have full hookups or am boondocking. The power cords that came with it are long enough to reach outlets in my rig."
"We purchased the MT27F as an additional freezer for our sailboat (Gulfstar 50 Ketch) - and are we glad we did! It is quiet, low-amp draw and not even close to being on the coldest setting (it goes to five; we have it set just below three) it keeps the box around 17 degrees F! We also purchased the external temperature monitor (that's how we know how cold the box is), along with the Transit Lock to keep it in place. "We have been using this fridge in our VW Van for over two years. It is fantastic. The temps stay cold and we never turn it higher than a setting of 4. The basket makes it easy to lift all the food out at one time so I can clean inside. The hinges are super sturdy. The unit is amazing.
