At Engel Coolers, we do our best to ensure the products we manufacture are well-designed and well-built so you can enjoy and benefit from their use.
All products manufactured by Engel Coolers are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
THERE ARE SOME CONDITIONS, HOWEVER
This warranty applies to the original owner only and only if purchased from an authorized Engel reseller. Engel Coolers’ only exclusive authorized 3rd party marketplace seller on Amazon, Target, Walmart etc. is Spreetail. If there is an issue with your product within 30 days of purchase, please contact the authorized reseller you purchased from directly for warranty and returns. If there is an issue with your product beyond 30 days of purchase, and is still within the products warranty period, please complete the “Warranty Claim Form” at the bottom of this page (proof of purchase is required). We do not warranty products purchased on these marketplaces from any other seller.
Factory seconds, discounted, second-hand products or products purchased from any third-party sellers (apart from Spreetail) on marketplaces such as, but not limited to, Amazon, Target or Walmart are not covered by Engel Coolers’ factory warranty.
Normal “wear and tear” (including chips and scratches, abrasions, discolorations or fading due to usage, exposure to sunlight, and extreme weather conditions) is not covered by our warranty, nor is damage caused by neglect, unauthorized alterations or repairs, power surges/lightning strikes, water damage, ice retention/performance, or failure to follow recommended care and use instructions. Power cords and fuses are not covered by our warranty.
Products used commercially, that are abused or misused, or products that are structurally altered or subject to undue stress beyond the physical limits of the materials are not covered under this warranty.
This warranty does not include any manufacturer responsibility for any consequential or incidental damages resulting from the use of the product. Under no circumstance will Engel Coolers be responsible for any number of damages beyond the amount paid for the product at purchase price (proof of purchase is required). Engel Coolers will not be held liable for the contents of any cooler, drybox/cooler or fridge/freezer should it fail to operate as advertised. On a related note, “cooler performance” - or the ability to 'keep ice' is not covered by any warranty.
The Engel Aerator Pump (Part # ENG-AP3 & ENG-AP3-T) comes with a limited 2-year warranty. Warranty is voided if the pump has been opened, dismantled, or altered in any way. Warranty does not cover normal “wear and tear” or abused or physically damaged. Rust and subsequent damage/failure inside the pump due to being submerged in water, is not covered under warranty. Warranty does not cover natural battery deterioration of up to 20% per year. Replacement batteries are available for purchase. USB port corrosion is not covered by our warranty as it should never be exposed to the elements when properly sealed.
THE WARRANTY RETURN PROCESS
If your Engel Coolers product qualifies for warranty, Engel Coolers will repair or replace the item, at our discretion, or any part or component that is deemed defective, and we will do it quickly. Here’s how:
Complete the “Warranty Claim Form” at the bottom of this page. Once submitted, a member of our warranty team will contact you within 5 business days. Please note that warranty extends to parts and labor only. The customer is responsible for shipping the defective item to our Engel Coolers Service Center for inspection and will be held liable for return shipping should the item be determined not covered under warranty. If the item is determined covered under warranty as a result of a manufacturing defect, Engel Coolers will incur return shipping costs of the repaired or replaced item back to the customer. We suggest that you use a trackable carrier service with insurance when shipping the item in for warranty inspection.
Once the item is received at our Engel Coolers Service Center, the item will be inspected, and the customer will be notified of warranty determination within 3 business days of receipt. If the item qualifies for warranty repair or replacement, we will work to get this completed as quickly as possible. Please understand that we may not have all available parts in stock and repairs could take longer than expected.
Should your item not qualify for warranty service, we will contact you to discuss the results of our determination. Remember, “wear and tear” is not covered under warranty.

For products purchased prior to January 1, 2017, warranty is no longer applicable.
Note: All warranties are valid from the original purchase date of the product. Engel Coolers reserves the right to change product models and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already complete products, or those in the hands of dealers or consumers. Engel Cooler products repaired or replaced under warranty may or may not incorporate such changes.Submit A Warranty Claim Here
