Did not fit factory 35 Engle cooler
"Beware it did not fit. . I had to pay $30 to ship the product back so I lost money. For some reason the model number coordinated with my 35 cooler, but it did not fit"
Description
Transit Slide Locks are highly recommended from a safety point of view. They help prevent your Engel fridge/freezer from shifting around in a vehicle or boat. Securely attach your transit slide lock to the vehicle and then simply slide your Engel into position and it locks down automatically. To remove, just push the clip to release. It's that easy! The Slide Locks work with all Engel Transit Bags.

Transit Slide Lock for Sailboat Application
"I haven't installed this yet, but purchased the transit slide lock to use with my MR040F-U1 cooler in a sailboat. I can't have the cooler sliding around while the boat is rocking, so hopefully this will keep it in place! It looks like it should work well. Overall I have been impressed with the Engel products."

Solid Mount!
"Snaps right together and mounts easily. There is a template printed on the inside of the box for mounting/fitting measurements. It comes with the 4 feet you need that replace your stock Engel fridge feet. Fridge clicks right into place and doesn't move or rattle at all. Mounted in my Defender 110 so if it was going to rattle anywhere, it would be here."
Engle makes a great reliable
"Engle makes a great reliable product. I expect this will also be very good. I ordered and paid for these on February 22nd after checking that they were in stock and available to ship. I was quite surprised that the Engle store didn’t get around to shipping the item until March 5th. Seems like a long time to me. Buyers need to be prepared for long delays . Luckily Engle makes a good product, but customer service seems lacking."
Not quality plastic and kit not complete
"We live on a sailboat and needed a mount to hold our MR040. There are a couple of things Engle should change about this item. The price does not reflect the material used. The plastic looks to be cheap ABS not nylon reinforced plastic that should be used. If this cooler comes loose in a moving sailboat or off-roading vehicle it could be dangerous. The feet that come with the kit do not fit the MR040. You need the adapter kit which would have been nice to know as the shipping was free with the first order because I purposely made it over $100.00. We bought the adapter feet and the screws were too short. You need longer screws M6x1.50” to work with the adapter feet and the slide lock feet. I bought the longer ones from the hardware store and it cost me $8.00 for stainless steel. Be careful mounting the plastic tray as an impact drill might crack the plastic. I would snug the screws by hand. We will have to see how it works when the boat is leaned hard over in a sea way. I really wish it was made of nylon reinforced plastic."

"I would like this to made of zytel plastic, nylon reinforced. My cooler does a lot of rough 4 wheel drives, and this is a part really subjected to pressure. For 100 bucks.. I would spend 150 for zytel"
