(March 18th, 2026) – Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) is thrilled to partner with Engel Coolers, a leader in high-performance, durable, and affordable coolers, to support the Center’s daily operations. To kick off the partnership, Engel Coolers has generously donated 41 coolers to support research, conservation, and education activities.

Reliable temperature control is essential when transporting sea turtle hatchlings and supporting field-based conservation work. Engel Coolers will help ensure safe handling and care during these time-sensitive efforts, including nest inventories and hatchling drop-offs, transport, and recovery initiatives. High-performance coolers will also be used to store beverages at LMC’s signature events such as TurtleFest, presented by Amazon.
LMC’s education programs will utilize the coolers during seasonal camps to keep food, beverages, and supplies secure. In addition, the conservation team will rely on the coolers during beach cleanups and environmental restoration projects.
