"I was excited to purchase this for my husband for Father’s Day as he was in need of a new cooler. . unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience :( 1. ) the biggest brown spider crawled out of it 2. ) there was a broke. Piece of plastic in the corner 3. ) the metal clasp wouldn’t stay connected when you’d go to lock it they would fall out of the hole. I did send pictures to where I purchased it. Was bummed when gave to him for Father’s Day we had to return it and had nothing else to give him."

"As an IBEW Electrician I can tell you this thing is built tough. This cooler keeps my food chilled till lunchtime and doubles as a seat if need be. The cooler holds enough food and drinks for an eight hours shift. If your probably going to work any overtime get a 19 quart."

"I have 2 19qt coolers I use in my kayaks. They work great. The fit and seal is still tight after years of use. This 13qt does not seal up like that. From the first time using it the lid seems like it is "sprung". The old Coolers the lids set smooth even unlatched. This new one if the latch is not on it there is a 1/4" gap in the front. It does not fit flush. I included pics. The red cooler is new and you can see the gap. The tan cooler is 8 years old."

Excellent Quality for the Price

"My husband works long days and is often unsure of how long he will be in the field. The 13 quart cooler is perfect for fitting breakfast, lunch and plenty of snacks to ensure he isn't going hungry and has to resort to over priced gas station food. It's durable and simple, no fancy bells and whistles. There is a tray that sits just above the rest of the cooler which helps keep things dry like if you have something wrapped in saran wrap and don't want it to get damp over the course of the day. Someone on reddit recommended this cooler as being a more affordable version of a well known brand that is featured in just about every hardware store across America. Why spend more money on a brand name when you can save it and get just about the same quality? I hope you take the plunge and enjoy this cooler just as much as my husband does!"

Will a gallon of milk fit in a 13 quart cooler with the lid closed?
Interior is only 8.5" in height. * MODEL UC13 Exterior Dimension 15" x 10" x 11 1/2" Interior Dimensions 12" x 7" x 8 1/2"
Is it possible to get a new top for the cooler. I love mine but my job can be a bit hard on things. I bought a second one but would really like to fix my original one up. Sometimes I need two.
