"I was excited to purchase this for my husband for Father’s Day as he was in need of a new cooler. . unfortunately it wasn’t a good experience :( 1. ) the biggest brown spider crawled out of it 2. ) there was a broke. Piece of plastic in the corner 3. ) the metal clasp wouldn’t stay connected when you’d go to lock it they would fall out of the hole. I did send pictures to where I purchased it. Was bummed when gave to him for Father’s Day we had to return it and had nothing else to give him."

"I have 2 19qt coolers I use in my kayaks. They work great. The fit and seal is still tight after years of use. This 13qt does not seal up like that. From the first time using it the lid seems like it is "sprung". The old Coolers the lids set smooth even unlatched. This new one if the latch is not on it there is a 1/4" gap in the front. It does not fit flush. I included pics. The red cooler is new and you can see the gap. The tan cooler is 8 years old."
