My Engel 65 High Performance Hard Cooler lid is so hard to open that the cooler is neer unusable. Are there a trick to open a the lid other than flipping it on its side and opening the valve on the bottom??? By doing that everytime you need to open it flips everything in water and is a unreasonable solution. What is the trick to using this cooler???? My wife can not open the lid or flip it over at all. Please help.
Sometimes the gasket seals the cooler so good that it can be hard to open. You can simply cut a 1/2" off your gasket. This should allow just enough air to get in so you can open the lid easier. Call us if you have any other questions. P.561-743-7419
