"Great plug! You take apart the Engel 12v cigarette lighter plug that comes with your fridge, take off the front half of it, and plug the cable it into this socket, then screw in the plug collar so it cannot wiggle out. You can remove the metal bracket if you want and mount the socket to a surface panel as well. Very usefull and well-made product if you want a more permanant power solution!"

First Outing
"After purchasing a new 2020 travel trailer and experiencing what a useless Dometic fridge it came with. I decided to buy my 2nd ARB Fridge. Then I found out Dometic was building the ARB fridges now. I had always known about Engel and their quality. Turned it on and even though it was in the high 90's where we live, it cooled to 32 quickly. We drove for 7 hours in 98 degree weather the whole trip and arrived, moved from tow vehicle DC power to trailer AC power and never missed a beat. SOLD. I feel bad for folks with Dometic."
If your looking to install
"If your looking to install your fridge in your vehicle get this fitting . I originally wanted to hard wire my fridge to my vehicle , I am off road a lot and a sloppy fitted power cord can and will come loose and ruin the day.At the time of purchase the hard wire kit was sold out so I took a chance and purchased the posi fit connection , not knowing how it worked. It works by unscrewing the cigarette lighter part of the supplied Dc power cord which reveals a two pin connection that simply plugs into the posi fit and is retained in place with the threaded cap attached to the cord . Again all smiles"
