Description
Transit bags not only protect your Engel fridge/freezer with a layer of insulation, but they also offer a heavy-duty foil layer on the inner side that reflects direct sunlight and long wave radiation. The high-quality gray canvas outer layer comes with an accessory pocket and vents. The bag covers the entire unit and is easy to open - simply unzip the bag on top. The bags work with the corresponding Engel Transit Slide Lok. Breathing holes are built into the compressor will not overheat. Transit bags are available to fit the following models: MT17, MT35, MR040, MT45, MT60, MT60 Combi, and MT80.

"I originally had a MT-45 and was very happy with it. However I sold the vehicle it was installed in. So I purchased a MT-45 combo fridge/freezer to replace it, And a 7. 5l drybox/cooler for my wife. I am very pleased with t the quality and efficiency of the products. The fridge has a very low current draw and the quiet hum of the compressor helps me sleep. I contacted them regarding the order and the customer service was excellent also."

"Overall good quality. One thing is that the (4) holes in the bottom of the cover do not line up with the feet on the bottom of the fridge. Functionally it doesn't seem to matter but it would be better if the cutouts in the cover were made to match the feet. I was also little disappointed by the (4) fairly large labels on the outside saying "Engel Fridge Freezer". You might as well put a big sign on it that says "steal me". I removed the labels and it looks cleaner and more discreet."

"I’ve been using the Engel MT60 fridge for a while now, mostly for camping trips and longer off-road adventures. "-the feet holes in the bag do not match the corner based rubber feet of the unit. I was able to cut and modify the bag for adequate utility. -I am a tropical traveler so thicker insulation in the bag would be a welcome upgrade. The unite itself is a great product."
Best fridge and cover!
"Was exactly what I was looking for. Really appreciate the auto switch power supply that will change from 120AC to 12DC while compressor is running. I drive an EV as an over the road salesman in 9 states. When using this fridge and pulling up to charging stations it’s really nice to have cool drinks at the ready. Bonus to not have to switch the power input at this time. I use a battery jump start that has a cigarette lighter outlet. This way you can plug-in both cords and always have power. I also bought the insulating cover for this and it made a marked difference in amount of runtime of the unit. It also helps hide the unit so it’s not so obvious and at risk for theft. All the outlets have openings and clear area for ventilation of the compressor area."
