Introducing our revolutionary NEW Engel High-Performance Backpack Cooler.

What separates the Engel High-Performance Backpack Cooler from its competition is the fact that the Engel BP25 is entirely welded while most of its counterparts are sewn. By welding all seams, warm air is kept out, dramatically increasing the life of the ice or ice packs inside. The welded seams ensure there will be no air or water leaks and will allow the soft-sided BP25 to keep beverages cold for 3.5 days, according to an independent review.

The BP25 boasts an outer shell composed of durable 840 denier fibers, which provide maximum strength and abrasion resistance. The exterior is laminated with a Thermal Plastic Urethane (TPU) film, adding another layer of strength and puncture resistance. The cooler has 1-inch of closed-cell foam insulation, preventing air from passing through it and improving the thermal range of the cooler.

It's innovative, easily accessible, roll-top closure makes for a watertight seal as well as an alternative method of carrying when buckled in its upright position. With its foam padded back support, ventilated mesh padded shoulder straps, and chest strap, the BP25 was designed for ultimate long-wearing comfort. In addition, the backpack cooler can also be carried by one of its three grab handles for short-distance convenience.

The BP25 has a capacity of 25 quarts and has the ability to retain ice for up to 3 days in ideal conditions. Like other Engel soft-sided coolers, this backpack cooler comes with an integrated bottle opener, a water-resistant front pocket, a solid base for stability, and our closed cell foam insulation technology for optimum performance. We have also added d-rings and side straps for extra utility, and a mesh side pocket for your Engel Tumbler!

"This is a well designed backpack cooler. The straps are quickly adjustable and pretty robust. It hold a lot more than I expected too. It will easily hold a whole 12 pack of bottles, plus 7-10lbs of ice (distributed) and some snacks. I haven't figured out our well it keeps things cold yet. Since the dry bag portion is black, I imagine it will struggle to keep cool in the direct sun."

Leaks slightly

"Good bag but top seams leaking. When rolled up and stored upright it keeps ice and drinks/food cold. I use mine as a lunch bag/moto bag and it's great when all rolled up. The only thing I can say I have a slight issue with is how the seams up top leak if I put in on its back flat on my motorcycle. Water sealant might work best so I'm going to ask support what brand they recommend using for the material it'sade from"

Best backpack cooler on the market!

"I work as a fly fishing guide in SW Colorado. Summers are hot and sunny and I love how well these backpack coolers keep ice and how easy they are to access. Competitors models I have used have a narrow opening that is difficult to keep open when accessing the interior or a zipper that will fail. I have broken all the zippers. This roll top opens up big and keeps everything air tight. I've used it as a dry bag on rafting trips and hauled 2 days drinks and cold victuals into the Gunnison Gorge. Amazing product!"

The top roll down piece, that forms the top does not appear to contain insulation like the actual storage area below. How is cooling loss mitigated from the top of the cooler?
Correct - the top is not insulated like the sides. It has to be thin enough to roll but thick enough to keep the air out.
Does the BP25 have a drain outlet for melting ice?
No - it does not have a drain plug.
What are the interior and exterior dimension?

I am wondering what the dimensions are for this cooler. It may not always be used as a backpack and would need to fit in a space that is too narrow for a regular box cooler.
